God and You

Mission Statement

To restore, rebuild and renew using the Word of God, testimonials, and prayer!

"Women helping women"... You know the saying, "it takes a village", women keep too many things internal. If everyone is keeping their hurt, pain, disappointments to themselves they are hurting themselves physically, mentally and spiritually. They are hurting the next generation. If each generation will share with the next after them, we could be wiser and stronger. Please share Dovescry.org with young women in their 20's, 30's and 40's so that we don't lose them. It is our responsibility as mothers, aunts, grandmothers and sisters in the Lord. Our motto: "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves." Philippians 2:3

When YOU read the scriptures, that word is going into your spirit. Jesus said, "My Words are spirit and they are life". John 6:63

Know that the Bible tells us that our eyes are the lamp to the body/soul. Matt. 6:22

We are to spread the Word ladies and share!--"...and they overcame Him because of the blood and the word of THEIR testimony". Rev. 12:11

God wants YOU to know as a woman, He is pleased with you.  When the Lord placed this on my heart, He told me the same way God the Father was pleased with Him, Jesus, The Son of God, He is pleased with you also.  He guided me to Matthew 3:17 and told me to put each woman where I see the Son, and I came up with this:  The Holy Spirit descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon her and a voice came from heaven and said, YOU are my beloved daughter, in YOU I AM well pleased.

Hence, Women helping women. I have talked to so many teens and women needing help, advice or just to be encouraged, that I decided to set up a Facebook group called "Dove's Cry", and now we have our own website.  The advice given is all biblical-based, testimonial, and experience sharing; not just from me but other women who have more years on this earth than myself. YOU are His beloved! He is pleased with YOU.

Teaching The Next Generation
Teaching The Next Generation
What an example left for us to share with our children and everyone who we come in contact with, whither we know them or not, to share the gospel with all. In the past articles, we were challenged to share with the next generation. Holy Spirit is reminding us again. Are you talking to your kids about the blessings of obedience to God’s Word? Are you discussing the downfall if they don’t obey?

Communication in Marriage
Communication in Marriage
It was my experience in the early stages of our marriage that I used the wrong words. No one instructed me on how to talk to my husband, my soul mate, my friend. No one taught him either, so in our first years I said some things to my husband that did not build him up. I didn’t realize that he was a gentle soul.

Entering His GLory
Paul talks about the church of the Thessalonian in an endearing way. He mentions their work of faith, labor of love, and steadfastness of hope in Jesus. The gospel came to them in word, power, and the Holy Spirit with full conviction. They received the word with "much affliction" with JOY and as a result they were known for their walk in Christ.

Marriage The Beginning
Marriage The Beginning
The other aspect is to “pursue hard after” the wife. This “pursuing hard after” is to go beyond the courtship leading to marriage, and is to continue throughout the marriage. The fleshly tendency is to "do what feels good to me, rather than to consider what will benefit the spouse.

Walk In His Glory
Walk In His Glory
In looking at an old testament passage (Ex. 33:18-22), Moses was interceding for the people of Israel, and he asked God, "Please show me your glory." He answered him, "I will make all my goodness pass before you and will proclaim before you my name 'The LORD.' (Yahweh) And I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious...
